Important clarification regarding schedule maintenance on Monday, 19th of January-
On Monday, 19th of January 2026, at 10:00 AEDT, there will be an approximately 45-minute outage affecting access to AAP systems and network. We will be performing mandatory maintenance for system stability.
Superdesk
- In the Office: There will be NO access to Superdesk.
- External Access (Remote): Access will be limited to writing and editing articles only.
- You cannot publish stories.
- You cannot fetch new images (however, previously fetched images can be added to stories).
Photos system
- The Image Desk will not be able to ingest images or publish images during the outage.
- Photos (photos.aap.com.au) and Newsroom (newsroom.aap.com.au)
- The Photos website and Newsroom will both be down for all customers.
When: Monday, 19th of January 2026, at 10:00 AEDT
Duration: 45 minutes
